On May 20th, ten days ago popular singer Afeez Balogun otherwise known as Naira Marley was arraigned in court for alleged internet fraud, a charge he plead not guilty for. At the conclusion, his bail hearing was scheduled for today May 30, 2019.

On appearance at the court today with members of the EFCC, the Marlians; his fans caused a scence.

The motion for his bail was presented and the court granted him the bail on the conditions of; a Two Million Naira (2,000,000) bond, and two sureties, one with a landed property and the other, a Civil Servant, not lower than a level officer.

This whole matter started with his public support for internet fraudsters. This utterance caused an outburst on social media with backlashes from several celebrities mainly Simi, Tunde Ednut and Ruggedman. All of whom he replied still standing on his claim.

If found guilty, he stands to face a jail term of not more than seven years and will lose all properties gained form proceeds of the act.

Although for now, there is relief from his fans all over the world over his release.
