Davido has decided to be the middle man in the ongoing feud between veteran rapper Ruggedman and Singer Naira Marley. He says to Naira Marley “I love your music. Everybody does. but i understand where Ruggedman is coming from. Ruggedman is a legend, I grew up listening to his songs.  You just have to respect the Legend”. He also expresses sadness over the fact that Nigerian youths have very few opportunities to show forth or showcase their skills and talents and thus, is causing the unfortunate rise in internet fraud.

He however states that Nigeria Music has gone beyond Africa and is now being played all over the globe. He concludes by asking both parties to let sleeping dogs lie and let love lead, for his sake.
